How to keep supporting our moors - without coming to visit

In these unprecedented times of self-isolation, it is hugely important to stay at home and stay safe. The scenes across the British countryside last weekend showed how even outdoor spaces can become hotbeds of infection. The National Trust are also advising visitors to stay away from the moors to avoid a repeat of last year's major fires, particularly with emergency services already stretched by the coronavirus pandemic .
